Responsibilities
Designing and implementing secure, scalable network architectures across on-premises, cloud (AWS GovCloud), and hybrid environments
Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers to ensure high availability and performance
Implementing cybersecurity controls aligned with DoD and federal agency standards (NIST, FedRAMP, DISA STIGs)
Supporting integrations between enterprise networks and OpenText ECM platforms, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity
Developing and maintaining disaster recovery and continuity of operations (COOP) strategies for network infrastructure
Monitoring and optimizing network performance, capacity, and security posture
Collaborating with architects, developers, and system administrators to ensure network solutions meet operational and compliance needs
Qualification
Required
7+ years designing and managing enterprise network architectures in federal or large-scale environments
Strong expertise in network protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing
Experience with AWS GovCloud networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Security Groups)
Demonstrated experience in disaster recovery and COOP planning/testing for network infrastructures
Strong knowledge of DoD and federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST, DISA STIGs)
Proficiency with monitoring and automation tools (SolarWinds, Ansible, CloudWatch, or similar)
Experience with PKI, certificate management, and secure access controls
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to complete the government's background investigation
Preferred
Familiarity with OpenText ECM platforms and their integration requirements (highly desired)
Security+ Certification (required or highly desired)
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent (desired)
AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty (desired)
