Required

Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/training in Business, Finance, Marketing, or similar field
Experience in communications and marketing, data collection, and material development
Experience in strategic and tactical planning and successfully implementing events or programs with international, national, statewide or regional focus
Experience employing cost accounting principles to ensure financial viability of the unit. Experience overseeing complex or high-profile programs or events
Experience with using project management techniques and software to track project status, costs and timelines, or other project deliverables
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and diplomacy to interact with a diverse group of people including faculty, clients, residents, researchers, students, staff and corporate partners

Preferred

Experience in veterinary or medical healthcare, including management of continuing education events and wet/dry laboratories
Experience working with live animals and laboratory instructional models is preferred
Experience with STOVA, DocuSign, CANVAS, and Adobe Cloud programs. Experience with contracts, working with hotels, catering, venues, and sponsors
Financial management skills/knowledge of strategic budgeting
Knowledge of veterinary medicine and its sub-specialties, the pharmaceutical/veterinary medical equipment industries and how they are organized
