Responsibilities
Directs the strategy development, implementation, and planning of the following projects/programs related to high dosage tutoring, which directly aligns to the Office of Teaching and Learning strategy of meeting the needs of all students through extra time to learn to meet individual needs:
Accelerate: High Dosage Tutoring
Steve Carter Education Program
Tutoring vendor strategy
Continuous Learning Strategy
Serves as the Department’s expert in tutoring strategy, tutoring models, and schedules
Designs and implements pilot projects to improve extra time for learning initiatives on the basis of research, national reports, and policies
Serves as a point of contact and works collaboratively with vendors through weekly meetings and in person trainings and events
Qualification
Required
Eight years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services
Six years of full-time work experience plus five years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services
A bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services
An advanced degree plus four years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services
