The Investment Director will be responsible for sourcing acquisition targets, building acquisition cases, participating in investment decisions, and supporting subsidiaries, all while working closely with the Founder-CEO in a dynamic team environment.

Qualification
Required
5+ years, US-based Lower-middle market investing experience (PE, FO, Search-Fund)
Tier-1 PE or iBanking or Transaction Services or PE or Consulting background
Authorization to work in the USA
Ability to work daily in office in Manhattan (NYC)
Sourced / Evaluated 10+ and/or led 3+ LMM transactions in the US (non-US experience is not a fit)
Experienced capabilities in: off-market deal sourcing, broker sourcing and management, seller engagement and convincing, deal evaluation, structuring and presentation, due diligence, etc
Background in Tier 1 M&A (GS, JPM, MS, etc) or Transaction Services (Big 4, etc) or prominent PE or MBB = a highly selective and formative Firm
Ivy academics, preferably in STEMs or Finance or MBA
Very entrepreneurial appetite and dispositions
Self-starter, resourceful, highly autonomous and hands-on
