Sales Director
Trovo Group is a global, technology-enabled logistics provider seeking a Director, Global Strategic Sales to drive new business for international freight forwarding and managed transportation services. This role focuses on enterprise customer acquisition and requires proven experience in selling or supporting Department of Defense logistics programs.
Responsibilities
Lead new business development for international logistics and managed transportation solutions
Acquire enterprise customers across commercial and DoD/government-regulated supply chains
Sell air, ocean (FCL/LCL), cross-border trucking, customs brokerage, and visibility solutions
Align solutions with DoD requirements, including compliance, security, and time-sensitive execution
Partner with operations and pricing teams on customized proposals and RFPs
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to meet growth and margin goals
Maintain accurate CRM data and sales forecasts
Represent the company at industry events and executive customer meetings
Qualification
Required
7+ years of international freight forwarding or managed transportation sales experience
Direct experience with DoD logistics, defense contractors, or government supply chains
Strong knowledge of global trade, INCOTERMS, and multimodal logistics
Established shipper relationships and executive-level sales presence
CRM proficiency and willingness to travel as needed
