Pediatric Health Psychologist - Faculty - Assistant Professor
The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Pediatric Health Psychologist to join their expanding Division of Pediatric Psychology & Developmental Medicine. The role involves conducting psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide integrated mental and behavioral health programming for pediatric patients.

Responsibilities
Health psychologists will work with an interdisciplinary team of colleagues, including physicians, nurses, social workers, care navigators and others to develop, implement and sustain integrated mental and behavioral health programming for patients
The pediatric health psychologist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments of pediatric patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, collaborating with medical professionals, offering guidance to parents/caregivers, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, conducting research and providing training and supervision to psychology trainees and interns
Participate in professional development, scholarly activities, and administrative duties
Clinical 90%: Services provided include health and behavior assessment and intervention
Teaching 10%: All Department faculty are expected to teach psychology learners, residents and medical students as they rotate through our clinics
Dedicated supervision opportunities may also be available
Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate
Qualification
Required
PhD or PsyD in an APA approved clinical psychology, school psychology, neuropsychology program, or appropriate subspecialty program
Licensed, or eligible to be licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin
Preferred
Clinical experience assessing and treating children and specialized training, including fellowship in child psychology
Specialized training or experience in health and behavior assessment and intervention
