Strategic Price Setting Manager
NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a Strategic Price Setting Manager to enhance their pricing capabilities. The role involves leading value creation projects and process improvements while collaborating with IT and pricing leadership to implement pricing strategies.

Responsibilities
Lead internal and external data integration to drive quantitative business decisions
Develop source-to-target data model for execution of value creation opportunities using Microsoft Excel, Access, relational databases, SQL, Visual Basic, and/or BI tools (Power BI/Qlik)
Execute and monitor value capture opportunities in line with year-end targets
Recommend and quantitatively test pricing strategies and deploy successes
Leverage the design / development of BI tools in support of business goals
Write queries (SQL) to join relational databases
Identify, analyze, develop action plan, implement, and monitor multiple process improvement projects
Perform frequent and consistent status updates
Design new capabilities that capitalize on emerging technology
Conduct on-demand price management analysis and communicate results to executive leadership
Work closely with IT and business owners to inform and ensure the quality, accessibility, and consistency of pricing data
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics, or other quantitatively rigorous field
A minimum of 4+ years of experience or equivalent management experience in the field of pricing, merchandising / category management, or finance
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Firm understanding of demand modeling, optimization, and rules-based pricing
Experience developing ad hoc analysis and dashboards utilizing BI Tools
SQL and relational database experience
Microsoft Access and Visual Basic
Alteryx data mining and analytics
Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements
Team player helping to build a continuous improvement culture
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in financial analysis and working with data inputs from multiple sources
Working knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
High level of initiative, curiosity and potential to go beyond the described role as the team responsibilities evolve
Experience with analytics to evaluate and optimize business processes
Automotive parts experience
Willingness to mentor junior staff
Preferred
Graduate degree
A minimum of 8+ years of experience in multi-channel pricing, promotion management, dynamic pricing, loyalty programs or pricing tests and bundling
Experience managing complex transformation projects in the commercial space
