Responsibilities

Conduct detailed metallurgical analyses including microstructural examination and mechanical testing to evaluate material properties and performance
Perform failure investigations using techniques such as spectroscopy, fatigue testing, and mechanical tests to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
Develop and implement calibration protocols for testing equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support material selection, process improvements, and product development initiatives
Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation to communicate findings, recommendations, and compliance with regulatory requirements

Required

Familiarity with machining processes and their impact on material properties
Ability to interpret technical data and prepare detailed analytical reports

Preferred

Master's degree or higher in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, or related discipline
Experience with advanced analytical instrumentation and software for materials characterization
Professional certification in metallurgy or materials engineering
Experience working in regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, or energy sectors
Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams
