Responsibilities
Responsible for administering and maintaining project packages
Responsible for coordinating Dig Alerts
Responsible for analyzing pre-fields projects, including products, traffic and pedestrian control requirements
Responsible for notifying residents and businesses affected of upcoming work
Communicates and coordinates new project information and schedule with the Public Works Department
Responsible for coordinating and communicating required units, timeline and scheduled outages with Utility inspectors
Supports the superintendent with daily paperwork and administrative tasks
Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
A working knowledge of general office procedures at a level normally acquired through one year of experience in an office setting
High School diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise and complete multiple projects in a timely manner
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be able to act with integrity and professionalism
Ability to maintain confidentiality and contribute to a team-oriented work environment
Working knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
Must have a safe driving record and a valid driver's license
Preferred
One year of experience working in a civil construction office is preferred
