Responsibilities
Operate lathe machining centers and cylindrical grinding machines to finish steel parts to exacting specs
Own setup, maintenance, and repeatability on all assigned equipment
Hit rigorous Dia, TIR, and taper tolerances
Verify with micrometers, dial indicators, and profilometers; confirm against blueprints
Apply GD&T to ensure design accuracy and alignment
Run multiple machine centers to meet throughput and schedule goals
Move materials safely using hoists and slings
Use production software to monitor, record, and optimize processes
Partner with your team and leadership to uphold quality and customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Experience with lathe machining centers and cylindrical grinding (required)
Expertise in machine setup and tolerancing for Dia, TIR, and taper
Skill with micrometers, dial indicators, profilometers
Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T specs
Background running multiple machine centers and using related software
Comfort operating hoists and slings safely
Meticulous attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
