Responsibilities

Deliver preventive and general maintenance, breakdown repair, troubleshooting, and corrective actions on analytical and metallographic instrumentation
Install new instruments and implement updates and upgrade kits
Train users on theory, operation, software, and sound maintenance practices
Ensure all work aligns with LECO’s ISO accreditation

Required

Self-motivation and excellent written and verbal communication
Professionalism and adherence to each customer's site and safety requirements
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong mechanical aptitude; experience with AC and DC electronics (or the ability to learn)
Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Should have a personal credit card, or the ability to obtain one
Pass a background check and substance abuse screenings
Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction
Two Year Technical Degree or Trade School
Prior Military with training in a technical field
Equivalent work experience or training in a technical field

Preferred

Chemistry or military background is a plus, not a requirement
