Business Development Manager - Water/Wastewater

The Business Development Manager will support strategic market growth initiatives in the U.S. Water/Wastewater sector, focusing on identifying new opportunities and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Developing internal documentation to address company needs as it relates to the identification, review and approval of opportunities
Support the identification, tracking and pursuit of new business opportunities in the W/WW sector with public and private clients
Support pursuit strategies for key DB, EPC, O&M, P3, DBFOM and other delivery models
Partner with internal technical teams to develop compelling, customized solutions
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external)
Support go/no-go decision-making, proposal development, and interviews
Track and report on market trends, funding opportunities and regulatory developments
Represent the company at prospect/client meetings, industry conferences and networking events
Support the implementation of strategic project initial phases as Key Personnel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates without a degree may be considered with strong relevant experience in the water/wastewater (W/WW) sector or infrastructure markets
3+ years of experience in business development, proposal coordination, or project support: preferably in the water/wastewater, environmental, construction, or engineering sectors
Experience supporting proposal development, market research, client outreach, and/or coordination of BD activities
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, marketing, etc.)
General understanding of the water/wastewater industry, engineering services, and/or infrastructure delivery is ideal but can be learned on the job
Familiarity with delivery models (DB, EPC, CMAR, O&M) is a plus, but not required
Preferred
Professional certifications (e.g., CAP, PMP, APMP) are a plus but not required
Familiarity with public-sector agencies (e.g., utilities, municipalities, water districts) is beneficial
