They are seeking an Assistant General Manager to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations, motivate staff, and maintain high standards of customer service and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities
Lead the activities of team members on shift
Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers (travelers) and appropriately resolve customer complaints
Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures
Operate point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately process & receive payment from customers, and follow all customer service and cash handling policies and procedures
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products
Complete with a variety of kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning
Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment
Actively cross-sell and up-sell products
Maintain a solid knowledge of products and services available in the plaza
Assist in the training of new team members
Follow required brand standards, food safety requirements, as well as all company policies and procedures
Inform plaza leadership of any observations, concerns, or problems that are witnessed or experienced
Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned
Responsible for confidently delivering performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives
Ensure the day-to-day supervision of non-management associates, assigning specified work, focusing on store level operation performance, coaching, and developing shifts supervisors
Must be able to competently perform duties in the absence of the general manager
Motivate and positively influence staff, especially during times of low morale
Strong Leadership and organizational skills
Addressing issues in a timely fashion
Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
Maintains an awareness of all applicable brand standards and all procedures and protocols to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations
Ensures that the restaurant always looks clean, inviting, and adheres to brand standards
Ensures cash management is accurate and processed daily, reports are delivered as per company directives
Address customer needs and resolve issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships
Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks
Qualification
Required
Passionate about helping people learn and grow the business
Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude
Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen
1-2 Years' experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations
Flexible and open work schedule
Basic food safety understanding and practice
Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs
