This role involves supporting legal and risk management teams through tasks such as reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and assisting with risk assessments.

Responsibilities
Assist with the review of legal documents, draft key legal documents like pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and more
Work with contracts, litigation, and risk teams to support various legal functions and projects
Perform research on legal issues, case law, and regulatory requirements to support ongoing litigation, risk management, and contract oversight
Help analyze and manage potential risks and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Track case progress, manage case files, and report on legal developments and financial spends
Organize legal documents, manage calendars, and maintain our legal management systems and documentation
Qualification
Required
Must be 21+ at the time of the internship
Availability to work for the full 8-week internship program
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
Currently enrolled in an accredited law, business, or related program
Basic legal knowledge and interest in risk management
Preferred
Previous administrative support or legal internship experience is a plus
