Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Southern Home Services is a residential HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical company that acquires, owns, and operates businesses around the United States. Responsibilities

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition (TA) Partners to review requisitions in Paylocity, ensuring job descriptions are accurate, well-formatted, and aligned with company standards
Manage and maintain job board pages on Indeed
Assist TA Partners with job posting strategies on Indeed, including sponsorships and candidate sourcing when necessary
Coordinate interview scheduling for general manager interviews
Administer Predictive Index assessments to GM, IS, and HCA candidates
Ensure accurate candidate disposition in Paylocity and maintain updated recruiting interview trackers
Support hiring events on Indeed, as required
Track and manage candidate RSVPs in collaboration with TA Partners
Organize pre- and post-event reviews with business leaders to ensure alignment and gather valuable feedback
Assist with candidate dispositioning in Paylocity post-event
Track, analyze, and report key recruitment metrics, including offers extended, offers accepted, and hires made within 30 days
Oversee the referral and sign-on bonus program, coordinating payment scheduling with payroll and making monthly announcements to promote engagement
Monitor and report on TA Partners' performance against monthly bonus targets based on recruitment metrics
Maintain visibility on open requisitions, ensuring accurate tracking and timely updates to relevant teams
Update candidate statuses in Paylocity, including transitioning candidates from 'Hired' to 'Rejected' if they fail background checks or drop out during onboarding
Ensure open job counts are consistently accurate, verifying the number of active requisitions regularly
Assist TA Partners with new hire onboarding by ensuring candidates complete necessary background checks and schedule drug tests
Serve as a back-up for recruiters during peak times or when additional support is needed
Provide new hire email addresses for Interplay account setup
Facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) for new Southern Corporate Employees
Assist with acquisition onboarding and serve as a back-up for the onboarding process
Create and distribute new employee welcome bags
Coordinate 1:1 meeting between new GMs and the HR Team to ensure smooth integration into the company

Qualification

Required

3+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination, with a focus on high-volume hiring
Solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment platforms for managing candidate pipelines
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open positions and candidates simultaneously
Strong attention to detail, ensuring that recruitment processes run smoothly and accurately
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders professionally and clearly
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Comfortable with using AI tools, text screening software, and ATS for streamlining recruitment processes
Familiarity with recruitment metrics and reporting tools to track and analyze recruitment progress
Demonstrated ability to handle difficult or time-sensitive situations with professionalism and efficiency
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Willingness to learn and adapt to new recruitment tools, technologies, and processes

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required
Familiarity with skilled trades roles (e.g., HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers) is a plus
