Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Operate equipment and tools used in the vinyl extrusion process
Use material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Pack, label, and prepare finished goods for shipment
Inspect extruded product and equipment; promptly communicate quality or equipment issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained work area; perform required housekeeping
Follow and uphold all safety standards and procedures
Perform other duties assigned, including cross-training to become proficient across multiple positions and production lines
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read and comprehend English language
Ability to use hand tools such as snips or chisel
Must be able to use, understand, and thoroughly read a tape measure
Be dependable and on-time with attendance
Be flexible and willing to learn, including cross-training and developing in other areas in the plant
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Work well with others on the team
Preferred
Experience in an assembly-line or manufacturing environment preferred but not required
