Business Intelligence Lead

They are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Intelligence Lead to support their Commercial organization by developing Tableau dashboards and applying advanced analytics techniques to inform commercial strategy and decision-making.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and ownership of Tableau dashboards for Sales and Marketing, including health system performance tracking, inside sales representative reporting, pipeline visibility, and campaign effectiveness
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Leadership to define KPIs, reporting standards, and analytics priorities
Translate business questions into actionable dashboards, metrics, and analytical frameworks
Apply data science and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., segmentation, regression, clustering, time-series analysis) to derive insights that inform commercial strategy
Develop and maintain robust data sources, calculations, and extracts to ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability of reporting
Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities across sales performance, customer engagement, and marketing investments
Collaborate with Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, and IT to integrate data from CRM (Salesforce), marketing platforms, and enterprise data sources
Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
Establish best practices for dashboard governance, documentation, and self-service analytics adoption
Continuously improve commercial reporting by automating processes and introducing new analytical approaches
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
4+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data science, ideally within healthcare, life sciences, or diagnostics
Advanced proficiency in Tableau (dashboard design, performance optimization, data modeling)
Strong analytical and statistical skills with experience using SQL and Python or R
Proven ability to move from descriptive reporting to diagnostic and predictive insights
Experience working with sales and marketing data, including CRM, pipeline, and campaign performance data
Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders
Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce CRM
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Redshift)
Experience applying customer segmentation, promotional effectiveness, or marketing mix concepts
Knowledge of diagnostics or healthcare commercial models
Experience enabling self-service BI and training business users
