Senior LevelParcc Associates is a growing, multi-unit restaurant group seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant with deep restaurant accounting experience. This role involves overseeing full-cycle accounting for multiple restaurant locations and preparing for a future Controller position by enhancing financial strategies and operational insights.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly restaurant accounting processes, including sales reconciliation, credit card batches, and cash variance review
Ensure accurate accounting of food, beverage, labor, and operating costs at the unit and consolidated level
Manage inventory and cost-of-goods tracking, including adjustments and margin analysis
Lead month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
Prepare unit-level and consolidated P&Ls, variance analysis, and performance summaries for ownership
Maintain strong general ledger accuracy in accordance with GAAP
Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments, and cash controls across locations
Support accounts receivable and catering revenue reconciliation as applicable
Manage sales and use tax compliance, filings, and audits across multiple jurisdictions
Optimize and maintain QuickBooks as the core accounting system
Leverage Toast POS data to improve sales accuracy, reporting, and operational insights
Strengthen internal controls, documentation, and standard operating procedures as the business scales
Partner with ownership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Help define and build scalable accounting processes and reporting frameworks
Gradually assume broader Controller-level responsibilities as the organization grows
Qualification
Required
Proven accounting experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, GAAP, and multi-unit operations
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (required)
Experience working with restaurant POS systems; Toast POS strongly preferred
Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and multi-sheet analysis
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment
Preferred
Experience supporting growing or multi-location restaurant groups
Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
Prior leadership or mentoring experience within accounting teams
CPA or accounting degree preferred, but not required
