Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales managers and/or direct sales professionals
Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and goals for the sales organization
Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture aligned with company values
Oversee the full sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and proactive risk management
Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior leadership
Partner with Finance to develop annual budgets, sales targets, compensation models, and incentive plans
Build and maintain strong executive relationships with key customers and strategic partners
Support sales teams in complex negotiations, high value deals, and long-term contract discussions
Represent the company at major industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, HR, and Finance to ensure aligned commercial priorities
Provide voice-of-customer insights to guide product development, pricing, and brand strategy
Partner with Marketing on lead generation, campaign strategy, and brand positioning

Required

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Experience in lieu of education
Seven or more years of progressive sales experience and a minimum of three years in a leadership role
Ability to travel up to 50%
Experience managing a multi-state sales team
Background in strategic account management or enterprise sales

Preferred

Industrial/manufacturing sales experience within hardware products industry strongly preferred
