Operations Coordinator
Harris County Chamber of Commerce is seeking an Operations Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Chamber. This role involves managing staff, strategic planning, budgeting, and enhancing member services to ensure alignment with the organization's goals.

Responsibilities
Oversee the management of daily operations, ensuring the smooth function of all departments
Collaborate with the executive team to develop an execute the chamber strategic plan, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and service
Overseas financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements
Recruit train and supervise interns
Foster, positive and productive work environment, enhance member services and communication strategies to increase member satisfaction and retention
Work with the events, director or marketing strategies to promote initiatives and events, manage the chambers online presence, including social media and website content
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in business administration, nonprofit management or related field
Minimum of two years of experience in operations management, preferably in a nonprofit or Membership organization
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in financial management and budgeting
Experience with QuickBooks and bill.com
Ability to lift and carry items within 10 to 25 pounds
Ability to perform physical tasks during events, including set up, breakdown and extended periods of standing or walking
Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and meetings
Travel in the local area may be required
