Responsibilities
Assist the Safety Manager with reviewing, revising, and implementing safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Partner with operations and other plant functions to review work practices and recommend changes to reduce risk
Direct the plant’s incident reporting and investigation processes, including root cause analysis, corrective action assignment, and tracking to closure
Develop and deliver monthly safety training to all associates; review and improve training programs for effectiveness and compliance
Conduct specialized safety training and evaluate training effectiveness
Perform routine audits and inspections to ensure compliance with corporate safety programs and regulatory safety standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2 Years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting (including assembly/machine shop)
Supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced facility
Bachelor's Degree
