Responsibilities
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community access point
Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification, confirming resident and guest authorization, and directing visitors and deliveries according to property procedures
Maintain accurate access control documentation including visitor logs, incident reports, and required notifications to on-site management and/or Allied Universal supervision
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local emergency services when requested and appropriate
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 1 or more years of security experience is required
Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred
