This role involves assisting senior legal staff with critical regulatory functions, conducting legal research, and managing documentation for compliance-driven projects.

Responsibilities
Apply strong case management, organization, document review, communication, and detail orientation skills to support regulatory applications and matters requiring bureau approval
Assist with Segregated Gift Annuity Fund licensing, including maintaining records of applicant materials and proper document retention
Provide support to Segregated Gift Annuity Fund attorneys and actuaries in their respective functions
Review draft audit reports and memorandums for accuracy and completeness
Conduct legal and insurance research for senior leadership, including the Deputy Superintendent, Assistant Deputy Superintendents, and other senior staff
Assist with drafting legal and regulatory materials such as Consent Orders and Stipulations under supervision
Review and summarize industry and regulatory reports, including materials from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC)
Review and summarize proposed and finalized legislative materials
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required
Paralegal Certificate required
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Comfort working in a regulatory, compliance-focused environment
