Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare and pharmaceutical manufacturing location
Operate the dispatch console to receive calls for service, triage requests, and coordinate security-related response by radio, phone, and/or other communications systems
Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion/fire alarm notifications, and escalate concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, supporting incident investigations, and completing accurate reports and logs
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as directed, checking doors, sensitive areas, and restricted-access points, with working environments and conditions varying by site
Qualification
Required
Have 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred
Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred
Customer Service Experience is preferred
CPR/First Aid is preferred
