Responsibilities
Review, evaluate, and approve new suppliers and contracts
Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective action implementation
Conduct annual supplier contract audits and field installation audits
Lead internal process audits and document findings
Manage reported quality issues from initial report through resolution
Collaborate with technical teams to improve quality processes
Identify opportunities to enhance field service performance and reduce defects
Track and report Cost of Poor Quality metrics
Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions
Train and mentor field technicians on quality procedures and best practices
Provide monthly KPI reports to upper management
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in an engineering‑related field or equivalent experience
3–5 years of experience in transformer technical process work
Strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills
Ability to work across functional teams to gather information, make decisions, and execute solutions
Balanced technical and quality assurance process knowledge
Experience with supplier audits and root cause analysis
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Willingness to travel up to 40% and work flexible hours
Ability to access construction sites and conduct detailed audit inspections
Ability to stand, sit, walk on uneven surfaces, climb, crawl, squat, and crouch as needed
