Front Desk Attendant
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented Front Desk Attendant to join their team. The Front Desk Attendant will be the first point of contact for the SPOT Youth Center location, ensuring the front desk is covered and greeting all visitors with a positive experience.

Responsibilities
Ensures the front desk is always covered
Greets and welcomes all staff, clients, partners, and visitors to the Campus
Performs a variety of clerical support tasks and works collaboratively to ensure task completion
Operates telephone system, provides information to the public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties; maintains a positive first impression and gives visitors and callers a consistent experience of helpfulness
Handles complaints by listening, understanding, expressing concern and then respectfully directs person(s) to appropriate staff
Maintains reception area appearance
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED, Required
Must possess versatility, discretion, and the ability to work with a variety of people
Must have the ability to communicate well both orally and written in a helpful and professional manner
Must demonstrated ability to follow instructions and organize work, collaborate, and complete tasks with little supervision
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time with occasional walking, standing, or lifting up to 10lbs
Preferred
Training in business communications or administration, preferred
