Responsibilities
Assist in developing proposals, including project scheduling, and developing cost estimates
Assisting in project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports
Performing simple calculations, computer data entry, along with some exposure to CAD, GIS, GeoStudio, RocScience Programs, and Bluebeam
Assist in writing technical documents such as calculation packages, geotechnical data reports, design reports, and specifications
Support field investigations and the assessment of subsurface conditions by reviewing drilling and test pit logs, in-situ testing data, and other pertinent field documentation
Performing research and contacting vendors for information
Develop familiarity with regulatory agency requirements, technical design standards, and industry standards and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Good interpersonal abilities for working in a team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction
Valid driver's license and good driving record required
High school diploma and enrollment in an accredited engineering program required
Completion of at least 3 years of undergraduate coursework towards pursuing a degree in civil engineering (non-structural, geotechnical track preferred), geological engineering, or similar is required
Preferred
Post-graduate academic experience is preferred
