Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with procure‑to‑pay (P2P) agreements, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements
Enforce procurement policies and SOPs to maintain consistency, transparency, and accountability
Partner with internal stakeholders and sourcing teams to develop strategies that reduce costs, improve delivery outcomes, and support internal customer satisfaction
Lead and mentor a centralized purchasing team to execute sourcing strategies and purchasing priorities
Prepare accurate purchase orders, oversee system entries, and ensure smooth order processing
Track supplier deliveries, identify potential delays, and proactively engage suppliers to maintain on‑time performance
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across purchasing and inventory functions
Analyze purchasing and inventory trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve forecasting
Translate inventory data into actionable insights for strategic planning
Support the advancement of procurement capabilities, including benefits tracking, compliance monitoring, and reporting
Train teams on procurement systems and processes, while continuously evaluating opportunities to enhance workflows
Qualification
Required
High school diploma, GED, or associate/technical degree
6–8 years of experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management—preferably in a mid‑ to large‑scale organization
5+ years of progressive experience in procurement involving indirect or operations‑related categories
3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience
Strong analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with ERP or maintenance management systems is a plus
