Responsibilities
Working with other members of Athene’s External Relations team to develop and implement strategic, proactive media and investor engagement plans and tactics to support business objectives
Following, distributing and analyzing real-time media coverage around announcements and ongoing company news; prepare weekly coverage summary
Performing a variety of research duties, including media monitoring, reporter backgrounders, conference/events vetting
Supporting investor engagement activities, including fixed income investor calls, conference attendance and roadshow logistics; updating and maintaining investor database
Drafting press releases, prep documents, talking points, social posts, PowerPoint presentations, internal and external content
Serving as point of contact for content updates and maintenance across digital channels
Managing team calendar, budget tracking and driving coordination across cross-functional teams internally
Ad hoc projects, as directed
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of relevant work experience in external communications
Advanced writing, editing, proofreading and PowerPoint skills
Superior organizational and project management skills
Strong attention to detail, with demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness; highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively
Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment with proven ability to respond quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
Preferred
Prior experience in Financial Services or Retirement
