Responsibilities
Develop 3D concepts, floor plans, elevations, and construction details
Create compelling visual presentations, renderings, and graphic design layouts
Apply strong spatial planning and object placement within interior and exterior environments
Prepare inspiration boards and sample development boards for presentations
Demonstrate understanding of architectural elements, décor styles, and FF&E
Source, specify, and document proposed materials and FF&E throughout the design process
Apply basic knowledge of construction materials and methods
Participate in and lead internal design reviews with project teams
Support company-wide and departmental design initiatives
Assist Graphic Design staff with 2D production layouts as needed
Support additional projects on an as-needed basis
Maintain positive public relations and a professional, adaptable attitude
Manage time effectively while balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Take initiative to expand skills through design trends, training, and industry events
Participate in annual project site visits to support buildability, logistics, and execution
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
0–3 years of professional experience (internships and academic experience considered)
A portfolio showcasing relevant academic and/or professional projects is required to be considered for this role
Strong understanding of interior design principles and spatial planning
Proficiency with SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
Ability to translate design concepts into computer-aided renderings
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to collaborate effectively while managing multiple priorities
Full-time, in-office position based in Winston-Salem, NC
Primarily office-based with occasional work in a production/printing environment
Minimal travel required; occasional extended hours or weekend work may be necessary
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must maintain a valid driver's license
Ability to occasionally lift objects and stand or walk for extended periods
