Correctional Case Analyst - Granville Correctional
The NC Department of Adult Correction is one of the largest state agencies responsible for the care and supervision of adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws. The Correctional Case Analyst performs a key analytical role within a prison Diagnostic Center, focusing on casework review and analysis to develop correctional case summaries and intervention plans for offenders.

Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret legal commitments/documents, medical data, psychological data, criminal history, social history, statistical information gathered from interviews and written documentation
Develop effective treatment plans for offenders including recommendations for housing, custody, treatment and programming
Comprehend and abide by policy, standard operating procedures, emergency plans, memorandum, legal documents and other directives, both written and verbal, governing daily activities
Perform routine supportive counseling and crisis intervention functions to include suicide prevention, recognizing abnormal behavior and taking appropriate action in accordance with established procedures
Perform rescue functions during emergencies, i.e., physically removing people from dangerous areas and securing people from confined areas
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in testing or interviewing, and/or counseling; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
