Responsibilities
Evaluate existing MS Access and Excel-based reporting processes
Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and modernize workflows
Redesign legacy processes (not “lift and shift”)
Develop automated solutions using Power Automate, Power BI, and advanced Excel
Improve reporting outputs for accuracy, efficiency, and usability
Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation
Create business requirements, process flows, use cases, test plans, and training materials
Conduct needs assessments to ensure compliance and business alignment
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, QA, and project partners
Translate business needs into functional specifications
Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment with risk standards and long-term reporting goals
Support system design, including user interface and backend logic
Assist with user acceptance testing and issue resolution
Provide knowledge transfer during implementation
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Maintain comprehensive documentation for reengineered processes
Support long-term system sustainability and future enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Proven ability to transform MS Access and Excel-based processes into modern solutions using: Advanced Excel, Power BI, Power Automate
Experience streamlining reporting and output processes
Advanced expertise in MS Access and Excel, including data transformation
Workday reporting experience
Strong Power BI skills (datasets, modeling, visualization)
Power Automate workflow automation experience
Demonstrated success modernizing legacy systems
Strong background in business analysis and documentation
Experience developing use cases, test plans, and training materials
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Creative, solution-oriented mindset with focus on continuous improvement
Preferred
Experience in compensation, risk, or financial reporting environments
Background in enterprise HR or financial systems
