Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows patching
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Implement, support and maintain backup/recovery solutions and disaster recovery plans
Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments
Write and optimize SQL queries and scripts for system automation and reporting
Collaborate with development and application teams to ensure system compatibility and performance
Collaborate with customers, adjacent technical teams and all level of management to address systems issues
Maintain security best practices, including system hardening and vulnerability management
Produce documentation for system configurations, procedures, and change controls
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience in Windows system administration in mid to large-scale environments
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (installation, maintenance, scripting, performance tuning)
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation
High level of familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V and Nutanix)
Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes is a plus
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
