Responsibilities

Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests on complex commercial credit relationships of $2,500,000 and greater
Keep up to date with the company’s lending protocols
Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with varying degrees of supervision and a working knowledge of accounting principles and financial techniques
Research skills
Strong problem-solving, mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficiency with computers and computer software, like programs that aid in statistical and financial calculations
Proficiency with financial reports and statements
Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data
Impeccable understanding of financial statements, ratios, and concepts
Performs loan reviews/annual reviews on selected borrowers and guarantors for commercial credit relationships of $2,500,000 and greater
Performs cash flows, financial credit analysis, collateral valuations, global cash flows, etc. for commercial borrowers and guarantors on credit relationships of $2,500,000 and greater
Accompanies relationship managers on customer calls and site visits of potential and existing customers as requested / needed
Performs ongoing file maintenance to ensure credit information is uploaded to the credit file in a timely basis as needed
Identifies policy, collateral, and missing document exceptions
Identifies strengths and weaknesses of the relationship
Researches and summarizes industry information for potential and existing customers
Runs credit bureaus and background checks for potential and existing commercial customers and guarantors to evaluate for potential credit worthiness and/or fraud
Spreads financial statements and tax returns for potential and existing commercial customers and guarantors

Required

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
Minimum of three or more years of credit analysis experience
Ability to conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests on complex commercial credit relationships of $2,500,000 and greater
Keep up to date with the company's lending protocols
Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment
Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial techniques
Research skills
Strong problem-solving, mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
