Responsibilities
Perform daily checks of the enterprise storage environment
Assist engineering efforts that provide engineering and technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development
Participate in efforts that develop recommendations and advice on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts
Be responsible for the implementation of complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements
View and respond (as appropriate) to events reflected in the various management tools
Conduct or attend various meetings (project, crew, change, configuration, etc.) and automating as much as feasible
Perform daily reviews of systems ensure normal maintenance functions are performing properly
Execute daily/weekly system health checks
Perform system audit log reviews as required
Support new projects through the project lifecycle (e.g., requirements 10%, design 10%, implementation 10%, O&M 70%)
Be required to coordinate efforts with other work centers and personnel to resolve Remedy Incidents related to systems and supporting infrastructure
Other Storage System Engineering/Administration duties may be required
Qualification
Required
Must have 2, or more, years of directly related experience
Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ with CE or better)
Must have a DoD Secret security clearance
