Deaconess Health System is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for an internal contract position. The MLT will perform laboratory tests and procedures, operate diagnostic equipment, analyze test results, and ensure lab processes are conducted accurately and efficiently.

Qualification

Medical Lab TechnicianMLT (ASCP)Clinical laboratory experienceBiologyChemistry

Required

Associates degree from an accredited Medical laboratory technician program or associate's degree and at least 60 semester hours from an accredited university including biology and chemistry and three years full time clinical laboratory experience or successful completion of equivalent training program
Registration as a Medical Lab Technician, MLT (ASCP), MLT(AMT), HEW, or CLS (NCA) or equivalent required
Registry required within 12 months of completion of school/training or equivalent education documentation per CLIA standards

Preferred

One to two years' experience preferred
