Mid LevelBirmingham Freightliner & Western Star is seeking a Service Outside Sales Representative responsible for growing service sales across various service areas. The role involves making customer contacts, developing relationships, resolving customer issues, and ensuring customer expectations are met.

Responsibilities
Make customer contacts daily in person. Set up appointments by phone or e-mail as well
Develop relationships with key customers to grow their business with the company
Be the link between the customer and service to help resolve customer issues
Work with all department personnel to ensure we are meeting the customer expectations
Follow up with customers on our quality issues and work with the Service Manager to resolve any complaints
Learn and understand the Service SOP
Track all customer communication using Decisiv
Knowledge of Elite Support
Maintain Service Advisor and Elite support training in the Aftermarket Resource Center
Will attend all department meetings
Complete weekly call sheets
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have prior experience in outside sales or account management
Must have valid driver's license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company's requirements
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Superior time management and organization skills
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Must be able to write simple correspondence
Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Preferred
Specific industry knowledge, including both familiarity with product lines and the overall building contractor process
