Clinical Research Assistant I - DVCIPM
The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine. They are seeking a Clinical Research Assistant I to perform data collection by conducting research recruiting and enrollment, and to support the Defense & Veterans Consortium for Integrative Pain Management (DVCIPM).

Responsibilities
Recruits and enrolls subjects for research studies. Collects baseline and follow up data from subjects. Checks for validity and accuracy of data ensuring compliance with quality assurance requirements and clinical relevance
Performs data entry in accurate, timely, and efficient manner. Maintains clear and accurate data collection records and inventories in accordance with Good Clinical and/or Good Laboratory practices
Establishes and maintains database files, creates, collects, disseminates, and maintains appropriate study data, and uploads into the established electronic data capture platform
Performs sample processing, tracking, and prepares samples for shipment
Maintains supplies in the laboratory and ensures proper cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with Good Clinical and/or Good Laboratory practices
Performs scientific literature searches, identification, and retrieval
Performs other administrative duties that will assist in the development and submission of papers, abstracts, and manuscripts, presenting studies or production of study protocol manuals and data collection instruments
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required, biological sciences preferred
Minimum of 0-2 years experience required
Ability to understand and utilize scientific/medical terminology and research theory in both oral and written communications
Knowledge of standard laboratory techniques; ability to follow detailed instructions; good communication and analytical skills
U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain a T3 secret clearance investigation
Ability to stand or sit at a computer for prolonged periods
