Responsibilities
Engineers multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Reviews drawings, specifications, and finish schedules to ensure accurate scope, materials, and installation requirements
Tracks project schedules, lead times, and deliveries to support on-time installation and minimize downtime
Communicates with vendors, manufacturers, installers, and internal teams to resolve questions and field issues
Supports change order pricing, documentation, and approval processes related to scope changes or site conditions
Manages & maintains construction project files and records (digital and hard copies)
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience in project engineering, project management or a related role
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
Experience working with a diverse range of professionals (vendors, tradespersons, clients)
Computer savvy with ability to learn new software
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (work at Lombard and downtown Chicago/River North offices)
Preferred
Construction or landscape design experience preferred, not required
