Responsibilities
Manage probate, guardianship, and conservatorship cases from initiation through resolution
Draft and finalize petitions, pleadings, and supporting documents
Track deadlines and ensure timely, accurate court filings
Prepare attorneys for hearings, including document organization and court-ready materials
Communicate directly with clients by phone and email, providing updates and procedural guidance
Provide backup client support as needed to maintain a high level of service
Maintain organized, accurate records within the firm’s case management system
Qualification
Required
Experience with guardianships and conservatorships required
Strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills
Comfortable in a client-facing role, including sensitive matters
Confident managing a high-volume caseload with minimal oversight
Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and law firm CRMs (Actionstep or similar)
Preferred
2–5 years of Georgia probate experience preferred
