Health & Safety Manager-Communications & Power Infrastructure

They are hiring a Safety Manager to champion a strong safety culture across powerline, fiber, and utility projects.

Responsibilities
Conduct jobsite safety inspections for powerline, underground, and communications work
Lead toolbox talks, orientations, and safety trainings
Develop and review Job Hazard and Activity Hazard Analyses (JHAs/AHAs)
Monitor OSHA, DOT, and EM 385-1-1 compliance
Investigate and document incidents and near misses
Partner with project teams to drive safety improvements
Document and communicate inspection findings through Microsoft Forms, Word, or Excel reports, and email distributions
Serve as a safety resource during preconstruction planning, energization activities, and confined space or high-voltage work
Qualification
Required
3+ years of construction safety experience (powerline, fiber, or utility preferred)
Knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 and EM 385-1-1
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
Preferred
OSHA 30
CHST/STS/CSP
CPR/First Aid
bilingual (English/Spanish)
