Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location
Staff the front desk and maintain a professional presence while monitoring the lobby and entry area for unusual activity and/or policy violations
Greet and screen visitors, verify identification, confirm appointments, and direct guests to the appropriate contact or location
Manage access control by issuing and/or collecting visitor badges, controlling entry through doors and gates as assigned, and documenting access activity per site requirements
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route calls or requests to the appropriate internal contact while maintaining confidentiality
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other front desk systems as assigned and report irregularities through the established chain of command
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications and supporting on-site response actions
Complete shift logs, incident reports, and other documentation with clear, accurate details in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines
Coordinate with site personnel, contractors, and delivery drivers regarding check-in procedures, routing, and restricted-area requirements
Support emergency procedures such as evacuations and/or shelter-in-place by providing directions, assisting with accountability processes, and communicating updates to designated personnel

Required

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
