Responsibilities
5 + Years of hands-on experience at scale on Middleware Messaging environments including IBM MQ (aka WebSphere MQ), IBM Message Broker (ACE/IIB), KAFKA, Solace
MQ Administration - performing activities build, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, deploys, configuring, patching and compliance
Experience in configuring MQ Queue Managers and troubleshooting issues involving MQ Clusters
Creating, configuring, and maintaining MQ Objects like Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, Listeners, Topics
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including leadership
Strong team or technical leadership experience Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Good understanding of MQ monitoring tools like IR360
Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area
Provide implementation support for key risk initiatives
Experience with IBM MQ on zOS, zLinux, AIX is a plus
ZOS Mainframe experience a plus
Experience with IBM MQ Appliance is a plus
Understanding Incident Management System (ServiceNow preferred)
Monitoring Alerts, Batch Failures, Service Now Queue
Handle outage calls efficiently, triage any issues, and fix them
Experience in Ansible, and UDeploy
Experience with types of Jobs Failures and Troubleshooting
Qualification
Required
