Metropolitan Family Services (MFS) empowers families to learn, to earn, to heal, and to thrive. They are seeking a full-time Associate Director of Data Strategy Systems to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy, oversee data systems, and provide leadership to a team of data professionals.

Communities

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy to support organizational goals, including data collection, storage, and utilization
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data systems (e.g., databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms)
Lead the development and enforcement of governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
Provide leadership to MPI’s team of data professionals, including data engineers, architects, and analysts
Partner with business units (e.g., IT, marketing, operations) to identify data needs and deliver solutions
Provide thought leadership in the assessment and implementation of data tools, platforms, and technologies (e.g., GCP, BigQuery, Python, etc.) to optimize data infrastructure
Lead data workflows processes to include ETL processes and system integrations to enhance efficiency and scalability
Lead the development and thought leadership of innovative data systems that support advanced analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives
Identify and mitigate risks related to data security, privacy, and system performance
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, required
Expertise in data platforms (e.g., SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, AWS, Google Cloud) and data integration tools, required

Preferred

Master's Degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or related field, preferred
