Responsibilities
Proactively identify issues, prioritizing work, and drive process and engineering improvements, including the team’s transition to GitLab
Support and enhance production systems and reporting in customer-critical environments
Design and implement cloud-based SaaS applications while developing data pipelines and SQL queries
Work directly with users and stakeholders to translate high-level requirements into production-ready implementations
Qualification
Required
Senior-level experience in DevOps, software, or platform engineering
Strong hands-on programming in Python, R, and Java, solid SQL skills
Experience working in AWS-based SaaS environments (Lambda, SageMaker, EMR)
Strong foundation in object-oriented design and experience across backend and frontend applications
Comfort working on Unix/Linux platforms, and familiarity with the Spring Framework
Hands-on experience with Git and GitLab, including supporting or leading migrations, and CI/CD practices
