Responsibilities
Lead and oversee electrical engineering activities supporting manufacturing operations, including electrical machinery, control equipment, and circuitry
Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment issues, performing preventative and corrective actions to ensure reliable plant performance
Develop electrical diagrams, drawings, and specifications for equipment modifications, expansions, and installations
Plan, direct, and document equipment testing, recommending upgrades, replacements, or improvements as needed
Supervise, train, coach, and develop plant electricians and electronic technicians while promoting safe and efficient work practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with an Associate's degree
5–7 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
Strong working knowledge of motor controls, VFDs, DC drives, PLCs (Allen-Bradley), and process control systems
Ability to design, modify, and document systems using AutoCAD and related engineering tools
Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
