Sr. RF Engineer
Science and Technology Corporation (STC) is a company that provides advanced scientific, engineering, and technical support services to the U.S. Government and industry customers. They are seeking a Senior RF Engineer to track, assess, and report RF spectrum regulatory actions related to Federal agencies and provide subject matter expertise across various RF spectrum related topics.

Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for tracking, assessing, and reporting any RF spectrum regulatory actions related to Federal agencies (DoD, DoC, NASA)
Provide subject matter expertise to DoD, DoC, NASA across various RF spectrum related topics and working groups
Participate and establish technical rules and procedures for spectrum sharing & spectrum coordination with federal agencies and international administrations
Assist regulatory and policy team in evaluating and conducting analysis on new rulemaking procedures and submissions
Conduct analysis pertaining to ITU WRC agenda items
Establish technical parameters and standards governing the use of each frequency band or specific service, if applicable
Qualification
Required
In-depth knowledge of FCC rules, procedures, and rule-making processes
Knowledge of ITU-R Recommendations and Reports
Experience in coordination with Federal Agencies (DoD, DoC, NASA)
Demonstrated ability to perform complex engineering analysis
Ability to use RF engineering tools (e.g., Visualyse) and MATLAB
Satellite Network Coordination & Communication
Possess excellent written & communications skills in English
Minimum of 18 years' experience in satellite & cellular telecommunications' industry
15+ years of experience in RF spectrum management engineering
US Citizen
Primary work environment is remote; however, domestic and/or international travel may be required
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 13+ years of direct engineering experience
