Nusenda Credit Union is dedicated to excellent member service and being a great place to work. As a Part-Time Teller at Nusenda, you will be the member’s first point of contact, assisting with routine financial transactions and providing exceptional service to meet member financial needs.

Banking

Responsibilities

Processes member financial transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, with a high degree of accuracy
Financial transactions include, but are not limited to, cash, negotiable instruments, account transfers, and loan/credit card payments
Assists members by assessing needs and educating on available products utilizing a needs-based sales approach and refers members to specialized departments as needed
Assist in a variety of tasks to ensure efficient office operations including opening and closing procedures
Operate as a vault teller and is responsible for vault cash duties including cash ordering
Assist management with training and development of new and existing tellers

Qualification

Banking experienceService delivery operationsAccuracy in numbersProblem resolutionAdaptability

Required

One to three years of similar or related experience
Equivalent to a high school education
Advance knowledge of service delivery operations
Accuracy in numbers, procedural detail, processing and balancing negotiable instruments
Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution
Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate

Preferred

Previous banking experience preferred
