Senior Systems Administrator
Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of an Senior Systems Administrator for an existing government client. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the stable operation of in-house computer software systems and network connections while providing maintenance and support for various operational systems.

Responsibilities
Ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections
Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all network software and communication links
Analyze and resolve end user software program and connectivity issues
Conduct capacity and performance analysis and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations
Increase system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment
Provide end user training
Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision
Provides local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location
Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications
Directs the work of other system administrators to provide the day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance
Apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance
Performs vulnerability management

Required
SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED
BA/BS in a technical discipline
At least 10 years of specialized experience. (specialized experience is defined as progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, where the majority are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, at least four years of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software)
Possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at time of proposal submission
Computing Environment: Current Windows Server, MS Windows Server Directory, Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: System Administrator with admin accounts/privileged access
Clearance: Secret
Security+ certification
And any one of the following certs: GCWN GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator, MC: Azure AA Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MC: Azure SAE Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, MCITP EA Microsoft Certified IT Professional Enterprise Administrator, MCSA: SQL 2012 DBA Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: SQL 2012 Database Administration, MCSA: SQL 2016 DBA Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: SQL 2016 Database Administration, MCSA: WS2016 Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Windows Server 2016, MCSE: WS2016 Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Windows Server 2016, MCSA: SQL 2012 DBA (or 2016): Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: SQL 2012 (or 2016) Database Administration
