Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates requiring intensive medical support
Perform continuous assessments and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per NICU protocols
Support and educate parents and families throughout the NICU stay
Promote compassionate communication and emotional support
Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
California Registered Nurse (RN) License (required upon hire)
BLS – American Heart Association (required upon hire)
NRP – American Academy of Pediatrics (required upon hire)
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred
At least 1 year of RN NICU experience
Active California RN License
Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
